I got this book quite some time ago; I'm not really sure when or where. How can you cope with a tragedy? If only you did this - what if you'd done that instead? Is it your fault? When your child disappears, what happens to the rest of your family - the children who weren't taken? This novel explores the drama that unfolds when Beth Cappadora's three-year-old boy suddenly goes missing, from the police reports to the television crews, and to the family's progress through the grief.

An interesting book, and worth a good read, but then it's time for this book to move on into the wild!
