Confessions of a Shopaholic

A book about a young woman who can't stop shopping!
I have to be honest and say that I did not finish this book because Becky (the main character) just drove me crazy! It was funny at first but after a short time her shopping addiction and her total lack of self-control and willpower got annoying. She was also incredibly materialistic and thoughtless. Sophie Kinsella is a good writer though. I highly recommend her novel "Can You Keep a Secret?" - it was awesome!

sending it to blackteiwaz!
Got it today! Thank you! Looks like a fun read, might be what I need to pass the reading slump I''m in. I have started four different books, but seem unable to keep reading any of them. I''ll pass it on to someone else after I read it.
I finished it last night and was a bit sorry it was over. For the first two chapters I thought being in the main character''s head was going to be unbearable, since you get to hear every thought she has, but after a while you start to find it funny and can even relate to her. There were parts when I was really concerned about her and particularly liked the chapter about the finnish bank manager. Will send it on its way at the end of this week. :)
