The sequel to "The Road from Coorain" written by Australian Jill Kerr conway about her years at Harvard.
I read this because I had read the author's memoir about her childhood in the Australian outback which was extremely interesting. This book is about the author's post-graduate education at Harvard and then her teaching and administrative careers at both Harvard and the University of Toronto. Not terribly interesting, but the author is extremely smart and her analysis of education and particularly women's issues is interesting. I did not expect to find a wonderful romance where the author meets and marries a Canadian professor and administrator at Harvard. Sadly, the author shares about the heartbreak of infertility. The book ends in 1975 when the author accepts the position of President of Smith College, a women's college in Massachusetts.
