Picked up at Hudson's when I went to the BC meet-up. I've read a few Margaret Atwood's but not this one.
Journal Entry 5 by ReetPetite from Beeston, Nottinghamshire United Kingdom on Thursday, November 1, 2007
Really enjoyed this book. It was written when women were expected to leave their jobs when they got married. It's got humour & it's a 'cozy' story because you know that everything will turn out well. More thought provoking than the usual chick lit.

I like Margaret Attwood's books so I was pleased to find this one I hadn't read at the Very First Super-Duper Loughborough Meet-up. Thanks for bringing it ReetPetite, it was lovely to meet you all and put faces to names - thanks for making us feel so welcome!
Never got round to reading this one ReetPetite - have been having a sort out looking for books to bring to the next Burton meet-up and found this one. Mt TBR pile is getting RIDICULOUS!!! Don't let me take any tomorrow!
