Map of Bones

A fast-paced thriller spanning continents with a religious leitmotif. I haven't read DA VINCI CODE, and don't plan on it since this book seems much more fun (and no mullets involved). The writing is smart and well-paced, the bad guys are creepy, and the good guys do their best to stay one step ahead, or at least survive. An interesting premise, and good execution.
I originally got this book from a drinking buddy, who got it from the wife of the pub owner (she reads like an express train). It came in one of seven paper bags filled with books and passed out to unsuspecting patrons, and I pass it on to you.
