"One Friday, Molly Clearwater walks out of her job, smarting from her boss's taunt that she's 'just a stupid secretary'. Twenty-one, a bit of a bookworm, she feels nothing exciting has ever happened to her or ever will.
On impulse she boards the Eurostar to Paris and discovers a world of leafy boulevards, luscious foods and smouldering Frenchmen. Within hours she's racing along beside the Seine on the back of a scooter, infiltrating a conference in a Cleopatra wig and sharing with a complete stranger her deepest, darkest secret."

Picked this up at the London Bookcrossing Meetup last night - looks like it could be a funny, light read, and it's set in Paris where I've been and loved and wish to go again...
I started reading this after the bookcrossing meetup, as I caught the train home from Waterloo station. Within the first chapter, Molly Clearwater, the heroine, is at Waterloo too - and decides not to go home, but instead to board the Eurostar to Paris.
What a joy it was to 'travel' this book with Molly, and get caught up in her experiences of French culture, nightlife and men. I'll be looking out for other books by Robyn Sisman, but perhaps I found this one particularly enjoyable because all the way I was cheering for this poetry-quoting, book loving recent graduate who had broken free from her corporate office job!
Thanks for passing this on WistfulDragon. Hopefully I'll find a new home for it soon.

This one came back to the Camel and Artichoke, but the shelf was full, so I brought it home again. To be set travelling again soon!
