I found this book in the All Saints Op Shop in Barwon Heads and will release it once I've read it.
Have you ever picked up a book that has critics raves in big print on the front cover, only to read the book & think that they must have read another book? Well...this is one of those books!
What can I say?? using the book's lingo: This book is shite! I couldn't read it...I mean I did give it a go....but it was arduous! I gave up because there are so many other more enjoyable & rewarding books to be read out there.
What I found especially grating was that the author is a male writing from a woman's perspective. Just didn't ring true at all. I did leave this on a table at the cafe...I almost threw it in the bin!!
Maybe if you've experienced domestic violence or loveless relationships...you may well be able to relate to this book...but I wouldn't bother!
