An inspiring, fast moving tale, FIERY SURRENDER deals with mistaken emotions, young love, and the dangers of a world at war. This story is beautifully researched with detailed descriptions of the French countryside and some of the cities in America pertinent to the revolution. Well-written dialogue and a unique plot flavored with nicely rounded secondary characters, Ms. Morelli also manages to present historical characters in a realistic light. It's obvious that the author has done hands-on research by her detailed presentation of each area the couple visits.
