Lousia May Alcott, famous for coming of age novels like "Little Women" and "Little Men," also wrote a romantic thriller: "A Long Fatal Love Chase." This book, written in 1866, was considered so scandalous for its time that Alcott failed to find a publisher for it. It then fell into obscurity and was not published until the 1990s, making it virtually an unknown book by a very famous author.
I personally find this book as funny as I did thrilling or romantic. It's very over-the-top.
This particular copy is a "large print" edition. I enjoy this book well-enough to procure my copy in regular-sized print for my personal library, and so plan on releasing this book into the wild the very near future.

Have gone back by the Dollar Tree and the book is no longer in the sign. Someone's picked it up but, as of this moment, hasn't made a journal entry for it. I certainly hope they do!
