Arrived safely. Since I'm right in the middle of reading another ring, I'm going to let my hubby read this one first. He really enjoyed Nymphos, and he's promised me a journal entry (one of his first) :)
Stole from Sarra before she was able to read it.
Pretty good book, nice moving plot. Not quite as good as Nymphos (first book in the series).

I liked X-Rated almost as much as Nymphos. I absolutely loved Coyote and his junker car and his rat chorizos. What an interesting character! Nicely paced, the author did a good job mixing the humor with the suspense to keep the action going. I hope he continues with the series as I'd like to see what happens to Felix in his next adventure.
Checking with Cheesy to see if she's ready for me to mail.

Woohoo! Thanks Breeni and Sarra! I can't wait to read this. :-)
I enjoyed this but not quite as much as Nymphos. Although Coyote is an awesome character. Hopefully we'll see more of him. ;)
Waiting to hear back from wss4 if she wants this or not.

Mailed to wss4 today. :)
Book arrived today. I just finished Nymphos of Rocky Flats yesterday and loved it so I am eager to start this one. Thanks for sharing!!
Another good Felix Gomez, PI book. While I did not enjoy this one quite as much as the Nymphos, it was still a good read. This one is much more a dectective story than a vampire story. I agree that Coyote is a very interesting character and obviously there is much more to him than meets the eye. Looking forward to the next in the series by this author.
Thanks for sharing. This will be heading out to Brat on Monday.

Alcatraz bought this up to me where we are camping. I started it l;astynight. So far it's been pretty good. I get it out to Cherie soon. Thanks for sharing it with me.
I will be getting this packed up tonight & sending it out in the next few days. Thanks for sharing it with me. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Felix is a fun character.
This is now on it's way to CheriePie. Thanks to Breeni for sharing it with me. It was a fun and easy read.
Nymphos and X-Rated Bloodsuckers arrived from Brat the other day. I'm wicked behind on my rings and rays right now so fortunately I know Breeni won't mind if I hang on to these for a bit before I can get to them. Don't worry... they won't be forgotten, I've got a special stack just for rings (which unfortunately is about to topple over LOL).
This is the second book in the Felix Gomez series, but for some reason, I didn't find it quite as entertaining as the first. A lot of the ridiculousness of some of the situations, that I found so amusing in the first book were missing from this second book.
In similar vein to book 1, Felix Gomez, still a private eye, has now been called to Los Angeles to investigate the death of porn star Roxy Bronze. Upon arriving in LA however, he finds that the person who visited his office only the day before to hire him, one Ms. Katz Meow, has joined the ranks of the missing herself. But Felix has been given a secondary, and perhaps even more important, assignment while in LA. The Araneum, the governing force of the Vampires, has asked him to look into suspected collusion between vampires and humans, since it's forbidden for the vampires to reveal their true identity to any human other than those who provide them blood, conveniently called chalices.
I definitely liked this book enough to want to read the 3rd in the series, The Undead Kama Sutra, which was just released this past March. I only hope that this series doesn't begin to take the "sequel spiral". I'd prefer to see it get better instead. ;)
This is now reserved for karendawn, and will be mailed to her shortly along with the first book.

Sorry for having these so long. Things have been crazy around here with getting the house ready and stuff. In any case, karendawn no longer wanted these so they're on their way to Lemonitsa in Montreal now. Mailed 8/23/08 via First Class International.
Arrived this morning and I'll try to get it read as soon as possible :)
Thanks for sending my way.
Thanks for sending my way.
I finished reading this one last night and I think I like the first book in the series better. This was fast paced and had lots going on all at the same time, it did make for a nice mystery, but I kept thinking that it was one stereotype after another. I was reminded of the 'Mike Hammer' type novels.... :( That's OK, I'll see what book 3 has to offer!
chronicbooker3 has asked to be skipped, so I'll pm apolonia in a few minutes.
cheers!

Breeni said to go ahead and do as I wish with the books so I am adding this to the Paranormal VBB @ BookObsessed in Round 30.
k_kay chose this from the VBB and I mailed it to her this morning :)
Thanks Lemmy!
