The third book in the series and as lovely and warm-hearted as the first two.
I must confess that one of the charms of the books is that the author doesn't seem to be ashamed to admitthat he isn't always in the know or brilliant but that he is just a normal vet with all his failures and good moments. I really like that. :-)
Off to start book number 4.

Auf die Bücher von James Herriot bin ich sehr gespannt. Als Kind habe ich immer gern die Fernsehserie geschaut.
CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Nachdem ich die 5 Bände endlich durchgelesen habe, reisen sie weiter zu kauke.
Ich habe es sehr genossen, diese Bücher zu lesen und freue mich, dass die Serie gerade im Fernsehen
(Sonntag, 16:50 Uhr, WDR3) wiederholt wird.
Englisch, liebevoll, lustig!

Nun hab´ich endlich alle 5 gelesen.
Und: es hat viel Spass gemacht, von einem Schmunzeln zum nächsten, mit Sorgenfalten, und interessant auch noch - wie aus einem anderen Jahrhundert :-)
