By the school house at Shancarrig stands a copper beech, its bark scarred with the names and dreams of the pupils who have grown up under its branches. Many, many thanks for this surprise RABCK!!!!! Coincidently, I finished 'Whitethorn Woods' by Maeve Binchy late last night, and I 'think' there are only 4 more of hers that I need to get now!! I'm yet to be let down by Maeve Binchy (apart from Aches and Pains, but that wasn't really a story!), so I can't wait to read this.

Will let you know what I thought!

Huge apologies for keeping this book so long!!! I've been working my way through my oldest 'given to me books' and I can happily say I now only have a few books left from 2007!!

I loved this book - there's something about Maeve Binchy's books that make you feel good!

I loved the characters, but I think I was most interested to read Leo's story more than any, due to the mystery that surrounded her!
