Quirky. The only word I can use to describe this tale of a young boy mature beyond his years attempting to find what a key that his deceased father left behind unlocks. Oskar travels through post 9/11 New York CIty fighting his own fears to claim something left behind by his father who was a 9/11 victim. Very moving book.
