I really liked this book. It was so different to her other stuff like Chocolat. Much darker in places and with some fantastic twists to some of the stories. But also some lovely humour and warmth. I think my favourite story was A Place In The Sun just for the unexpected ending!

I have reunited with this book few months ago after I took it from my parents' house. Read it a month ago - all stories so unexpected. Goes to my PC for a while, but maybe in future will let the book travel a bit.
