Journal Entry 1 by Sao-Diego12548 from Köpenick, Berlin Germany on Friday, February 23, 2007
Under the rule of Science, there are no witch burnings aloowed, no water trials or public lynchings. In return, the average law-abiding citizen has little to worry about from the things that go bump in the night. Sometimes I wish I was an average citizen…

Back cover:

Mechanic Mercedes Thompson has friends in low places - and in dark ones. And now she owes one of them a favour. Since she can shapelift at will, she agrees to act as some extra muscle, when her vampire friend Stefan goes to deliver a message to another of his kind.

But this vampire is hardly ordinary…

Sequel of Mooncalled.

My Opinion: I loved this book. It’s witty, sassy, dark and gripping. Hard to put down, once you started it with plenty of twists and turns…

Journal Entry 6 by wingdelfinnettiwing from Netphen, Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany on Sunday, August 12, 2007
Arrived yesterday save and sound in company of part 1 in the "Packstation". Thanks a lot for sending and "ringing" the book.

Edith 17.08.2007:
I liked this second part as much as the first part. Are there any more books in this series? I´ll look out for more of this! Part 2 was as supensefull and interesting as the first. I would like to know more of the fae and the vampires - their structure and their secrets...
A rouge vampire is runninig wild in this part, and causes mayham and endangers the secrecy the vampieres are still upholding, though the fae and the werewolves are out in the public and some humans start suspecting there might be more suernatural beeings around. So everybody is very keen to keep the news of this vampire who is running around killing people quiet.

Two wonderfull books on their way to Lytante. Thanks a lot for sharing these, Sao-Diego12548! I´m looking forward to the next part (due 2.01.2008 - "Iron Kissed" , amazon tells me ;-).

Vielen Dank fürs Schicken und für die aufmunternde Karte an delfinetti!

EDIT 23.09: Loved the book and its predecessor. When I finally found the time to read the books I finished them during four days. Thanks for the ring!

Journal Entry 9 by quak from München, Bayern Germany on Tuesday, October 30, 2007
Arrived today with Mooncalled :) Thanks again for the ring and for sending me the book.

Update 4.12.2007: I finished the book during the weekend and it had only taken a few days to read. Also this valume was written very suspenseful and so I could hardly put it down. I liked the story although it was a lot "darker" than the previous one. I'm still not sure if I like Stefan or not and the vampires in general are pretty creepy. I'm very curious which man Mercy will get (as I read on the authors website this will be revealed in the next volume).
Definitely a series that I will remember and enjoy to read on. I'm very interested about the other preternatural creatures and as I found out there will be more about the fae in "Iron Kissed".
Thanks for sharing the book! I will pass it on to mikani during the next weekend.

Journal Entry 10 by mikani from Neunkirchen, Niederösterreich Austria on Tuesday, December 11, 2007
Arrived this weekend together with Moon Called.

Update 27.12.2007: I liked this book as much as the first one (Moon Called). Same favourite charactes - and a few additional ones (even if the vampires are creepy - creepy is fine if you are a vampire, don't you think?)
I too am getting rather curious whom Mercy will get in the end and look forward to the next volume.

Journal Entry 11 by mikani from Neunkirchen, Niederösterreich Austria on Monday, December 31, 2007
Is on its way to rotewoelfin.

Update 04.02.2008: second try. after some delivery problems (the books returned to me last week), they are on their way to rotewolfin again. hopefully everything works fine this time.

Yes - second shipping was successful - so sorry that the Packstation didn't work this time - thanks for shipping again :)

Journal Entry 13 by rotewoelfin from Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg Germany on Tuesday, May 6, 2008
Finished the second book today - and it was really more exciting for me than the first one, maybe it was a fault to read the section with the vampire scratching Mercy's window just before I went sleeping yesterday - didn't have an easy sleep this night ;) I really enjoyed reading the book and I want to know, for whom she will decide - hopefully not Stefan *grin* - I hope for Adam - I like his character. And I really would like to read the third book - has anyone of you already bought the book and would share it with me - just for reading and sending back? :)

Ship the books as soon as I get the next address :)

Soeben zur Hauspost gebracht :)

Journal Entry 15 by Schneefee from Hagen, Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany on Thursday, May 15, 2008
arrived here some days ago, but due to Packstation-Trouble (blocked card-slot) I wasn't able to get it earlier. Hey - Mercy changed the tattoos on her arms and even got an extra-bat on her neckline!
Think the cover picture makes the book appear poorer than it is.

Journal Entry 16 by Schneefee from Hagen, Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany on Wednesday, June 4, 2008
loved this one, too! Where's Iron Kissed?? Hurry up, dear reader! :-D

I also read the chapter where the bad vampire bumps into Mercy's trailer late at night - argh! In case any future reader is interested to avoid that: It's around page 170, so be careful.

I've already PMed ekaterin4luv.

Journal Entry 17 by ekaterin4luv from Nürnberg, Bayern Germany on Sunday, July 13, 2008
And now Mercy moves on to vampires. Wonderful and the side story with Sam and Adam is good, too.

Journal Entry 18 by ParadizeApple on Friday, November 21, 2008
Both books arrived today. There's still two and a half other ones to read, but there's an fair chance for these two to be preferred. Thank you for sharing and and big hug to ekaterin4luv :-)

Journal Entry 23 by sternenwolf from Steffenberg, Hessen Germany on Tuesday, July 21, 2009
Just finished it and enjoyed it quite well. An easy reading und an exciting story, with adorable characters and some unexpecteted turns. I really can't wait to read "Iron kissed" which I've ordered after I'd finished Moon Called. A highly addictive series.

Thanks again for this great ring.

Now both of the books are waiting for the next reader...

Oh! Sorry... ich habs total verplant... Im Momen ein bisschen stressig bei mir... Hab jetzt LittleF angefragt und werde das Buch schnell wieder auf die Reise schicken! Tut mir leid!

Journal Entry 24 by LittleF from Ingolstadt, Bayern Germany on Monday, November 16, 2009

Journal Entry 27 by J-sama from Leipzig, Sachsen Germany on Monday, December 14, 2009
I loved this book as well - quite a page turner. I started it this morning and couldn't stop until finished - lucky that I am on vacation right now *smile*
What a mess, I wonder how Mercy will be deciding in her complicated lovetriangel, as if two werewolves weren't bad enough.
Compared to the first part of the series, this book turns out to be a bit more creepier - an we learn a lot more about werewolf politics (which is still from the stoneage as it seems)and scary vampires.
As I said I really start to like our sassy heroine and hope I can get my hands on par three of the story.
Thank you for sharing - I guess the book will be on its way home now.
