I know nothing about this book. I went into the Goodwill store in search of another book and this cover caught my eye. I just did a BC search and it seems that I may have found another winner here. "There are a few ahead of me but she'll get to me soon enough" said the book.

Unusual characters and a beautiful story. This is a tale to make you believe in magic. Only at Coolarney do the dairy maids have to be pregnant, vegetarians with pleasing voices to sing the songs from THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Only at Coolarney can the people heal and grow and learn their life's direction with such ease and graciousness.
I love a book that takes me so close to its story that I long to know the characters and the setting personally. If Coolarney House was a real place, I would have been trying to find a way to book my flight as I finished the last page.
Now, I will look for more from Sarah-Kate Lynch.

What a beautiful cover, makes you want to read the book! Will be starting that in a few moments; Can't wait!

Will finish the book tonight. What a beautiful story! I'm with you on the next plane to Ireland. I've loved the place ever since I saw it, am addicted to Father Ted (which is mentioned in the book, by the way!) and now want to go there and find a secluded place to work on cheese-making! Totally delightful. Thanks for sharing! (will get it back to you via our "church" connection!)

What a "loovely" read! I'm glad I read it on the return trip from Ireland -- I appreciated the references to Temple Bar, Cork, the colloquialisms, etc., much more than I would have previously. A quirky tale of 2 old friends who have devoted their very beings to cheesemaking. I can visualize the pastoral setting of Coolarney as this is so Ireland. I never would have picked up a book with a title such as this without a recommendation, but glad it found me!

Just found it. I will read it when I get through with my current endeavor (one of Orson Scott Card's books.) This is so cool.
