WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:

Left in the sitting area of the main lobby.
I just found it, left in the lobby of a Holiday Inn.
I plan on reading it, then leaving it for someone else to pick up, here in a few days.
This is a wonderful idea (leaving books for others to pick up and read and follow it's history), and I hope this continues for a very long time.

CAUGHT IN FAYETTEVILLE AR USA
I has just discoved Book Crossing when I happened upon a book in an elevator (not this book). When I was checking out the site, through the "Go Hunting" section I found that someone had just released the Steve Berry book in my hotel (Holiday Inn, Fayetteville). I asked if anyone had found it at the front desk and I have it now. I found it around the 16th of February. I will release it in a few weeks when I have finished it. Thanks.
I enjoyed this book. It was a good read for the subway. I could put it down and pick it up again. It had some fun characters in it (the MANY villains), but the central female figure, Rachel Cutler, just never solidfied in my mind. I didn't really care about her. He did create one elderly character that I found myself getting misty over towards the end of the book. The author did a terrific job in creating a vivid scene: lots of detail about architecture and art, with some thrills built in.
So I then decided to read his next book, The Romanov Prophecy, which in the first 6 chapters has me totally sucked in.
I was travelling quite a bit when I got this book. It came from Fayettevill, AR. Then it traveled through Evansville, IN and Columbia, SC before arriving in New York City. I passed The Amber Room off to a fellow who works at Precision Photos in New York.

*laughs* So that's what happened to that book. I had grabbed it and set it behind the counter, then forgot about it when I went home. When I returned, it had disappeared. Quite the coincidence. :)
