Colin Falconer also writes as Mark D'Arbanville. I read The Naked Husband which I really liked so I think that I will enjoy his historical novels.

This is an exciting and interesting story about a British intelligence agent during the Second World War who falls in love with a beautiful Jewish spy even though he is married. Set in Romania and Istanbul, it is atmospheric, well-written and has a lot of historical information about the war.

It is fairly grim and depressing at times and it isn't really holiday reading, but it is worth reading.
