We follow Anna Pigeon, Park Ranger through her job of trying to care for the parks and the people who visit them. Of course a tragedy ensues and Anna must follow the clues to the final conclusion. These books are very light reading and usually predictable and I like to read them because of Anna tendency towards being a loner. I can identify with her need to be left alone with nature.
