I can't believe i've never read this...an ubiquitous popular business classic, which looks like its got more than a hint of psychology. Just my type, thanks Gooner!

(15/02) This was a real hit on holiday for me, DW, and friends (currently on 4th read since the Ipswich meet-up!) I will write a proper review when I get a chance :)

This is a small book, further padded (needlessly IMHO) with an introduction and ‘discussion’. But, taking nothing away from the very simple story...little people (erm, humans) lose cheese, mice find cheese, little person changes and gets new cheese, other little person ‘dies’ waiting for old cheese...it’s a fine allegorical tale that has hidden depths. A bit like an ‘Aesop fable’ for the post-industrial age?

We had great fun on holiday interpreting ourselves, or rather parts of our behaviour, as Sniff, Scurry, Hem & Haw, and you really can use the quotes (the so-called ‘Writing on the wall’) to understand from past mistakes and make conscious decisions for the future.

Thanks Gooner and your friend for passing this on. When I get it back from non-BCers it will be back on its journey.

...yes i know that 'cheese' is only a metaphor, but I thought it might be fun to leave this somewhere near the dairy section ;)
