As part of the One Book - One Edinburgh citywide reading campaign, where the UNESCO City of Literature Trust is giving away 25,000 free copies of "Kidnapped", we've decided to set some copies free at random locations across the city.

I picked this up courtesy of Anna at the meetup on Wednesday. Thanks very much. I look forward to reading it.
It's a pity that the introduction to this book spoilt so much of the story but a good read overall. I especially enjoyed spotting references to places I've visited in Scotland. I was actually at The Hawes Inn last month for a wedding. Little did I realise its dark history!
