As part of the One Book - One Edinburgh citywide reading campaign, where the UNESCO City of Literature Trust is giving away 25,000 free copies of "Kidnapped", we've decided to set some copies free at random locations across the city.
Stevenson is a fantastic storyteller and an Edinburgh lad - "Kidnapped" is a cracking tale of low skulduggery and high adventure!

Caught tonight, on the 14th March, at the Monthly Meeting for Edinburgh’s Book crossers. Now at last I can catch up Edinburgh’s largest bookcrossing project. As on an initiative to encourage the reading of one of Scotland’s classic authors and highlight the fact that Edinburgh is a UNESCO City of Literature, loads of copies of Kidnapped were released. And this is one of those copies.
Hurrah I am so thrilled to have a copy as I feel it’s high time I read this classic Scottish tale! To be honest as a keen reader, though one with dyslexia, I have put off reading this as I was concerned that the archaic English would prove too exhausting for me to read, so let’s see how it goes. Otherwise I shall be looking from the library, for an audio a copy that would be immeasurably easier for me to cope with.
