Received today. Seems to be a novel by a travel writer, set in Crete. Fiction with lots of local colour? Not my usual sort of read, but that's one of the nice things about BookCrossing - I get to read things I would never normally try!

Read this while in bed with a cold. Nice to read about a warm dry Mediterranean country! I was expecting a romantic novel, which it is, but I found the historical detail made it interesting. It's set in Crete and most of the action takes place in a small fishing village and in a leper colony on an island just off the coast.
I've offered this to a BookCrosser in Portugal, so it's reserved until I hear from her.

Now on its way to Frangipani04 in Portugal. By airmail, no less! The cashier in the Post Office persuaded me to part with the extra 9p...
It's here! Thank you so much for your very kind offer! I was really looking forward to read this book! I'll read it in the next couple of weeks.

Travelling back to the Uk! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Very absorbing book and a great way to dream about summer holidays!
Received with big thanks from frangipani04 - Marshmallows for Breakfast is on it's way to you now!
An enjoyable book, made more enjoyable by reading on my holidays so could even feel the heat of the story! I'd heard people say that it took a bit of getting into it but I enjoyed it from the very first chapters. As other journallers have said on here, there is plenty of local colour and it's a different subject matter to the usual 'beach read'. Passed to my wife to read.
