Kathy Reichs takes on The Da Vinci Code (and wins), with a fascinating combination of forensics and archaeology. And unlike The Da Vinci Code, she manages to combine Biblical conspiracy theories and thriller without sacrificing readability.

Another enjoyable book by Kathy Reichs and she made the subject of the book believable.

Picked up at the meetup for the Chch BCers today - always like Kathy Reich's books so this one looks like fun!

I always enjoy Kathy Reich's books and this one was no exception - the pacing is really good and you're pretty much kept guessing up until the last minute. The only thing that I find a little grating is Tempe's voice in the narration, she comes across as a little too flip and superficial. I know that's her character but I found it a bit unsympathetic at times. But overall the book was a great romp through Jewish and Christian history as well as being a good murder mystery.
