A very panaromic visiion of an interesting and decandent time in hostory. I found it hard to follow in the beginning and a little rambling, but as I got into the story enojed the vivid accounts of what the Royal life might have been and the people surrounding them with all the intrigues. Weel worht reading.
A very enjoyable book. Took me a few chapters to get into it, but I enjoyed it after that. Along the lines of The Other Boleyn Girl, a book about the trials and affairs of the court of King Charles II. These books really make one glad they are not a member of royalty during these times. What hard lives they had.
