A beautifully written book, so very different from the usual war time romances based around the grim up north docks etc. In this book terrible things happen in nice places to good people by other good people in a believable way when things are twisted by the depavity caused from the violence, hatred and division of war.

The characters are engaging and envrionments rich; you soon find yourself deeply intwined in the story and are compelled to turn to the next page.

Releasing this one somewhere in Morecambe -on the prom, around Morrisons or wherever else I find suitable on my walk!
