Probably better the The Devil Wears Prada. Likable characters even if the Englishman is a walking cliche.

Yeah! My first book ray. It arrived today which is perfect because A) it's my birthday and B) I'm just about finished with my current book (which is funny--I am currently reading a "D" book for my 2007 A-Z challenge and although I am not reading in Alphabetical Order, this one is an "E" -- perfect!)

Will read next and send along.

Great, fun book, and a very relatable (is that a word?) and likeable character (Bette). She seemed to be the only sane one in the bunch. Made me feel a little old missing the old clubbing days and the idea of being out until 2am (or dawn) has long gone, but then realized I've stayed up several nights reading until 2 am. Loved the Harlequin romance book club. I might pick one of those for my next book club choice for kicks.

it's in the mail to Enidq... enjoy! :-)

This arrived a couple days ago and I have already started it. Should be through it in a couple weeks. Thanks for sending it on.

Well I have tried but I cannot seem to get into this one. Sending onto next BCer.

I received this book in the mail yesterday. I have a few to read beforehand, but it shouldn't take long.

I really enjoyed this book- made me feel young again, lol. Bette was an enjoyable character who went through a life crisi beut held her own. Lauren Weisberger is a great author and I will read more of her work in the future. I also loved The Devil Wears Prada. Sending on to the next in line.

YAY I just got this today in the mail. It is perfect timing because I just finished a whole pile of rings and mailed them out this morning. Then I came home and started looking on my bookshelf to see what else I could start reading. I decided to go and get my mail and Vola, a book was there waiting for me. Finally it is in time for me to go camping with it and have something to read...especially Friday night while I am waiting for 3am to see a meteor shower.

I just loved this book. It was so much fun to read, and very addicting. I found myself reading this until 2 in the morning some nights because I just had to read what happens next. I am going to have to read Devil Wears Prada now and compare notes, I love the movie, and I know that you cannot compare movie with books...but her style of "bitchy" is so great...it makes me laugh all the time.

Anyway, I will get the address of the next and send the book on.

I must send a huge apology. I still have not sent this book and here is why...not only have I been working 7 days in a row and 12 hour days (I am a care aid and staffing is short, anyone want a job?), but there are not many post offices around my area. They are postal outlets which are renting space at the back of stores. So for example, my shoppers drug mart store has a postal outlet in the back of its store. However, they are on strike right now which means the postal outlet is closed until the strike is settled. So I tried another postal outlet, same problem, different store, but a strike nevertheless.

The closest place for me to go is an hours drive, and with my current work schedule, I don't actually have an hour to spare to get to the post office. I have a day off coming this week, I will try my hardest to get to the post office and deliver this package.

So I am incredibly sorry for this long long delay that is way out of my hands.

Sorry I never journaled about going to the post office and dropping off the book. I have long since dropped it off. My last journal entry was October, so I must have sent it off around then. I am not liking this site very much because this is the third book I mailed overseas and got lost, stolen or MIA. It is really starting to annoy me. Anyway, I apologize for the lack of communication on my part.
