Purchased from Waterstones in Inverness with a Christmas gift token.

Another fine book from Tony Hawks. In my opinion his best since 'Round Ireland with a Fridge'.

I am taking this book to give to swan-scot when we meet up tomorrow in North Kessock for the first leg of the BookCrossing Across-the-Country Chain 2007.

Great to see you again, Ardachy. I look forward to reading this.

A nice, easy, light read. Not as funny as 'Round Ireland with a Fridge'; in fact it sounds as though he has grown up a bit and doesn't now need to set himself silly challenges!
While I have no desire to follow Tony's lead (and that of countless other Brits) and move to France, it has made me interested in hiking in the Pyrenees again.
