rabck from Rhonder, not the usual. When Cal dies, he requests that his best friend raise his son, and his sister raise his daughter. Only, no one knew he had a family. So they don't split the kids up, they move into Leslie's house together, which creates a family, despite Leslie's traumatic issues from childhood abuse.
