This book has had a speedy trip across the world and is a very nice surprise. Someone at the Convention is going to be especially delight to "find" this book among the other treasures that will be waiting on the 16th Feb.

Picked up at the Wellington convention and added to Mount TBR. I have vague ambitions of familiarising myself with more of the classics.
Many classics that I have tried to read bored me to tears (e.g. War and Peace, anything by D.H. Lawrence). This one blew me away. Read it, read it, read it - just not this copy, because I'm going to add it to my permanent collection. (I'm not being totally stingy - I had two copies of this novel, and the other copy is travelling).
