what a story! the writing, honestly, was not that fantastic--many scenes i had to read twice to really get the message of what was being conveyed. and i really wasn't crazy about the marie woman--she starts off kind of feisty and independent but turns into a shrieking, swooning idiot. some of the dialogue in those scenes just made me laugh, they were so unrealistic.
but the story of the man with no memory was fascinating. of course i have no idea if that's what really happens to amnesiacs, but it was really interesting to follow the story nonetheless.
time to rent the film!!!!

Hm. For whatever reason, this book is back in my possession.
It's registered on PaperBackSwap. Not sure what I'll do if no one wants it from me :)
