TBR. A rare new copy for me.

1-1-2007----This will be my first book of the New Year.

Don't know when I finished this but do know that I really enjoyed it.
It was about a tour group from the US that goes to China and Myanmar. Their adventures bring to light somewhat forgotten (ignored) human rights issues of our time. The travelers are followed over many cultural obstacles by a companion they are not aware of having.

was really excited to read this but upon having a friend look up info on line and realizing it is a hoax like blair witch my enthusiasism wavered. I still gave it about a weeks worth of evenings but it failed to really grab me.

Sorry my annonymous finder didn't like the book but will I hope pass it on. I have to say in defense of the book though that it isn't and never was a hoax. The book was written as a novel and only meant to be a work of fiction that had something of a political agenda in the sense that it was trying to raise awareness of the country of Mynmar. Other than that it wasn't trying to fool anyone.
