Finally, a story where the heroine is no silly ninny, knows what to expect and asks her due when the time comes.And no, she doesn't want to marry the hero after their night together. Nor does she fall desperately in love after that, forgetting her integrity.The hero thankfully suffers till he's redeemed, and the ending is HEA, though a bit rushed.I would have prefered it though if Adrian came to believe Jo just bc he loves her, and not bc he finally found out the truth. And she shouldn't have accepted him so easily just bc he said "Will you forgive me, I found out the truth".Play a bit hard to get, love. After all, he's responsible for most of your woes. And the major con of all is the luck of punishment of his b**** of a mother. How I'd love it if she died/lost her mind/sth bad happened to her. Life is so unfair..
