Father's Music

Part of a job-lot of books I bought on ebay for release. This one doesn't look to be my 'cup of tea', but hopefully another reader will find and enjoy this novel.
From the back cover...
'Music is the pulse of Tracey Evans's life, its beat luring her through dance clubs and rave parties. A twenty-two-year-old London college dropout, she laps up the late night, Ecstasy induced pleasures the city offers the free-spirited. Yet behind her tough street wisdom and promiscuity, there are layers of vulnerability and self-loathing. Her spirit is still in thrall to a past she cannot quit, and to memories she cannot obliterate, even by living on the knife-edge of risk. Tht risk has never been greater when she enters into an uninhibited world of sexual games and fantasies with Luke Duggan, a married Irish businessman based in London. At once loathsome and tender, the chameleon like Luke is torn apart by the alternating currents of his infamous Dublin criminal family, from whom he has tried to distance himself. When family responsibilities force Luke to return to Dublin, taking Tracey with him, the thrilling games of risk and chance take a sinister turn....'

I wasn't sure if I would like this book - or even read it for that matter - but I found it to be a decent read. I got into the storyline, and did not struggle to continue reading at all. It won't be a book that everyone likes as it does tend to be a little graphic at times.
It will be released soon

I enjoyed this book I became emotionally involved in it and parts of it made me cry.
I'm passing it on to my mother Sheila as I think she would like it. She has an Irish father and would enjoy reading about places in England and Ireland.
