This was excellent. i loved the setting and felt for Jane. Having said this my scepticism about these recovered memory cases clouded my view somewhat and I wondered where the psychoanalysis was going to end up. But the ending got me unawares and was brilliant, well done Nicci French, can't believe I missed this when it came out, and thank you forensicfanatic for sharing it.

I found this book in the entrance to a tiny church overlooking the sea at Hope Cove and have now brought it back to Bristol (from where it appears to have started it's journey!)
