I bought this book at Bristol Airport. Five diverse characters take us through the second world war; I found it a little tricky at first, but once i had sorted out who was who I became engrossed. It is very interesting to have first hand accounts of life during the war and how everday life continued.

I caught this book in a telephone box whilst making a call to the coastgaurd. Finding this book is the first time I or anyone i know have heard of bookcrossing.com and i must say i am quite excited about it. I am in the process of reading the book, although am struggling at present, and plan to release it whilst on holiday next week somewhere near Longleat Somerset.
