Now who doesn't love Dickens?? This semi-autobiographical novel is one of his most popular books - not undeservedly, although it isn't my personal favorite (that spot's reserved for 'Dombey & Son' ;-). It tells the story of David Copperfield's life from his birth onwards; a very eventful life, it must be said. This is one of those books everyone ought to have read.

I got this copy at a flea market at Grünerløkka elementary school in Oslo on Saturday, October 28th, 2006.

This book is reserved for a book relay on bookrelay.com. '1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die'. :-) I will get 'Tess of the D'Urbervilles' by Thomas Hardy, which I've heard is a masterpiece. Probably why it's on the list. :-) I hope someone will want this one!

I just started reading Great Expectations one of the other book on the 1001 books to read list. Can't wait to finish that one and start this one soon.
