Journal Entry 2 by Lemonitsa from Montréal, Québec Canada on Tuesday, December 12, 2006
This book made me root for the witch. :)
I liked it a little more than My Favorite Witch and I am looking forward to the next one in the series, Sex and the Psychic Witch :))) I like how light these books are, and they are perfect for an afternoon alone, just to relax and enjoy.

This one will be flying to a friend, soon!

Arrived today to be read as soon as I get through my current read, or maybe sooner...

Journal Entry 7 by wyvernfriend from Lucan, Co. Dublin Ireland on Wednesday, March 7, 2007
A few generations ago Victoria Carthwright's ancestor left Scotland and her love behind to move to Salem. When she died she left a key behind for the women in the family to try. Only the right woman will be able to open the wardrobe and find the treasure within. Vickie refuses to believe in magic no matter what has happened before.

Rory MacKenzie's Scottish ancestor was the man who lost his love across the water. His ancestor sent a beautifully carved unicorn to his love.

When Vickie turns up on Roadshow program with the Unicorn Rory rushes to get it but finds that she doesn't want to part with it so he has to hang around to convince her that he needs it.

A light fluffy paranormal romance that doesn't bear hard thinking but does pass a rainy day well. Some of the characters were plain annoying but that did build some of the tension.

I got this today. Thanks wyvernfriend for sending this on. And thanks terra57 for making this a bookring. This is exactly what I need right now. I've been so depressed about all the animals getting sick from the tainted pet food incident. My mind needs a distraction. I am going to drop everything and start reading it.

Journal Entry 9 by tish2002 on Friday, April 6, 2007
This was pretty cute. I enjoyed the story. I have to say that the three sisters, Harmony, Storm and Destiny were a bit annoying. I really liked Rory. I love it when the guy is from Scotland. Some gals like cowboys or princes, but I like the men with the Scottish brogue. It's soooo sexy!
I hope to get this sent off today to MaplesFlowers.

Cute, light, sexy, funny: perfect summer reading! And I liked how some characters popped up, leaving room for a whole other witch series...

Journal Entry 19 by BunnyLady from Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin USA on Tuesday, August 21, 2007
Arrived safe and sound. Have 2 others ahead of this, 1 from my 2 Month Trade Challenge (list of available books listed on my bookshelf page) and a Ray it Forward that I still need a reader for after I've finished). Should not be a problem to finish them and this within a month. they all seem like fast reads.

8/15/07 All finished reading. I will send out as soon as I get the next persons addy. Thanks for sharing.

Journal Entry 20 by BunnyLady from Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin USA on Monday, October 1, 2007
Cherie Pie asked to be bumped down on the list at this time she is being swamped with rings (isn't that how it always goes?!). I will be PMing the next person for their addy today.

Journal Entry 21 by BethanieKay from Melbourne, Florida USA on Tuesday, October 16, 2007
Received in the mail today! A note from BunnyLady states that Macewoman was skipped because she has her own copy of this book. I've got one more small ring in front of this, but I read fast so I'm sure I'll be digging into this one soon! :)

Journal Entry 22 by BethanieKay from Melbourne, Florida USA on Saturday, November 3, 2007
I loved this book! It was light, fun, and sexy. I admit, I looovvveee a man with a Scottish brogue! My favorite kind of smut book is one that involves a Scot ;) This book was way cute, I'm definitely going to have to seek out the others by this author.

I have Needsun's addy, so this will be on its way to Canada today! Thanks to terra57 for sharing, and the rest of you for playing along!

Journal Entry 23 by NeedSun from Perth Road, Ontario Canada on Tuesday, November 13, 2007

This was the exact bok I wanted to read right now. It was a feel good book and left my spirits high and hopeful.

Thank you for sharing. I will probably get this onto the mail to Cherie today. If not, I will update this journal.

Journal Entry 25 by CheriePie from Campbell, California USA on Saturday, December 29, 2007
This arrived today from NeedSun. Thanks hon! :* And thank you terra for letting me be bumped down so I can take a little more time with this. Now that I've turned you into a BookObsessor as well, I'm sure you can see how it's so easy to get swamped with owed books, not just rings and rays anymore! LOL

And now there's The New Years Sweeps, The Valentine's Day Exchange, the Birthday Exchange... all of which I need books for like ummmm... by next month too! Eeek! ;)

But I should be able to turn this around and get it back to you within 3 months, k? :)

Journal Entry 26 by CheriePie from Campbell, California USA on Saturday, April 19, 2008
Victoria Cartwright is a hereditary witch who prefers to deny her heritage rather than embrace it—until the day she opens her grandmother's locked wardrobe and discovers a carousel unicorn inside. From that point on, her carousel dreams, which previously starred her and a sexy Scot in kilt and full Scottish regalia, become even more vivid until Scotsman Rory McKenzie showed up on the doorstep of her little Salem, MA antiques shop a few days later, having traveled all the way from Caperglen, Scotland. What happens then is both unimaginable as well as magical. Are they doomed to repeat the mistakes of their ancestors? And just how are the two connected anyway since they've been featuring in one another's dreams so often....

This story was cute, if not exactly funny IMO. Because I don't really like romance, I didn't particularly care for the dream sequences as they were a bit too flowery for my taste. But the rest of the story wasn't too bad, and certainly entertaining enough to keep my interest. Though I remembered previous characters from The Kitchen Witch and My Favorite Witch, I remembered very little about Victoria, on whom this story was based, I think because I'd found her the least interesting (and most prudish) of the three friends: Melody, Kira, and Victoria. LOL

NOTE: I wanted to note here that the spine is severely damaged on this book and several pages are falling out. I'm not sure if it can be fixed or not, but it should have at least one more read in it for someone who isn't too picky. Maybe it's even possible to secure the pages back to the binding again with some book glue. I plan to bring it with me to our meetup on the 27th and see if anyone has any ideas.

This book is now reserved for cheesygiraffe, for the April Fools Sweeps at BookObsessed, since Terra said she since acquired a new copy for her PC, and said I could steal this off her for a spanking. ;)
