Picked this up for a very special book box.

This book came home in my Box of Bones bookbox. It looks scary, but I'm excited because the author is Canadian and I'm going to read it for week #5 of Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover Challenge as it has a part metallic front cover. Thanks innae.

This is certainly not a book that I would have chosen to read, but it was excellent! There was so much Scottish history as well as history of the San Juan and the Gulf Islands. So many references in Vancouver gave it a great familiarity. It was very gruesome, I admit, but it is an eye opener to learn about the criminally insane. Also lots of history of the R.C.M.P. in British Columbia. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a thriller.
