Andrew Henry's Meadow
1 journaler for this copy...
My most favorite book from my childhood. I have wanted to find a copy forever and haven't had much luck, but my wonderful fiancee tracked down a copy on ebay and bid her heart out so I could have it.
It's a great story about a young boy who feels misunderstood by his family. He packs up all his belongings and heads out to a meadow where he builds hi,self a house. Soon other children arrive and he builds them houses that suit their uniqueness. A treehouse for the bird lover, a house over a river for the boy who loves his toy boats, etc.
I understand they're going to make it into a movie soon, and I look forward to seeing it, but nothing will ever match the time I spent designing my own "fort" as a result of this book.
