This author is never afraid to tackle difficult issues and this particular book, dealing as it does, with sexual interference with a five-year old, is right up to the minute.
The characters are strongly drawn; the situations completely fraught with tricky issues and covers what must be every parent's nightmare.
I received this book from my daughter who is a Picoult fan but didn't really like this book and doesn't intend adding it to her personal collection.
I found it totally rivetting, reading this evening until I fell asleep then when, around 3.15 am I woke for the customary bathroom trip, I couldn't stop thinking about it so switched the light on and finished it within 24 hours.
A horrible subject; a great book.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
Picked up at the Bookcrossing meeting at Brewery Bar. I picked this up with a friend (and potential new Bookcrossing member) in mind, but she informs me that she has read "all" of Jodi Picoult's. So on to Mount TBR it goes.
CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Book three of three going to romney.
Book three of three going to romney.
Thanks for the RABCK Littlevoice! This will go on my TBR for now.
I don't know if I can call this an "enjoyable" ready with such an unpleasant subject, but I was completely engrossed and could not put the book down. I've not read many Picoult books, but have a few more on my TBR pile that have just made their way closer to the top.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I hope this book makes someone's day. If it's not your kind of read, journal it, pass it on and join in the fun of watching books you have touched travel the world!
I'm not a huge fan of Picoult, although I have read many of her books. I liked this one as it stayed much more with the main characters than some of her other books which seem to have a lot of subplots.
Some interesting moral conundrums and plenty of relationship tension, court room drama and hot topics to satisfy every reader.
