The Shoe Lane library was selling grab bags of general fiction for £2.50 so I grabbed a couple and this was one of the books I scored.

I really enjoyed this book when I read it years ago. I didn't fully appreciate the politics of the tale and I vaguely remember being annoyed at the movie interpretation of this book.
I would like to read this again but will set it free instead. So many books so little time.

RELEASE NOTES: Left on a table at the entrance to the gardens during their fabulous free evening Christmas Carols and light show. I really enjoyed warbling along to the London Community Gospel Choir. I wish whoever finds the book a very Merry Christmas indeed.
