I was completely involved in this dark and disturbing story right from the beginning. You clearly know from the outset that all is not well, the story is finely developed with interesting twists and turns holding your attention all the way. The action is set in familiar and believable locations, which, are well used and add to and enhance the narrative. The style is clear and descriptive but avoids either the sparseness or the sometimes over elaboration of a few contemporary authors. A great first novel and hopefully there will to more to come.

Received today. Thanks very much.
Gripping reading with a plot full of twists and turns and characters that may, or may not, be involved, this is an excellent first novel. More please C.J.

Received this morning thanks for sending it on. Now this does look like a good read! will get on to it within a couple of days me thinks.
This book did not really hold my attention that well I am afraid! Sorry to say that the plot did not really live up to the expectations from the blurb. I have pmed Stubee to pass the book on at the earliest opportunity. Thanks for giving me the chance to read a new author which may have passed by unnoticed otherwise.
This arrived while I was on holiday, I'll get onto this shorlty. Thanks Cassiopaeia for sharing this and to Sterile for passing it on.

Well I really enjoyed it. The subject of the story is a disturbing one and I'm amazed that someone would try and tackle somemthing like that for their first novel but fair play to CJ, she did it and it's come up trumps. A truely enjoyable crime novel.
I normally figure out how's done what and why when reading these types of things but this one had me going all the way to the end.
Thanks for sharing this with me.
I've already been to the post office and popped this off to Cross-Patch.

One of the most gripping reads I've had for a long time. I still don't KNOW who's who, if you know what I mean. I'll definitely read anything else by CJ Emerson. As a side comment; I particularly like the graphics - a very modern feel, and they were totally in keeping with the book.
I now have an address for Nimitor and shall go to the post tomorrow. 31st May Done.

have started reading and am hooked already....
Really enjoyed this novel, quite different from what I usually read, would read aything new from this author, has been passed on.Thanks
Arrived safely - thank you :)
Seems that previous readers either loved or hated this - I was somewhere in the middle... Didn''t give up on it, but nor did it have me unable to put it down. Enjoyed the twists. Would read more of CJ Emerson in the future.
Received today :)
It took me a while to get into this one but once I did I enjoyed the twists and turns. More realistic than some of the books I've read recently. I'll be keeping an eye out for Emerson's next offering.
I have Cassiopaeia's address so this book can go home!
