Johnny Tremain
1 journaler for this copy...
1944 Newbery Award winner.
Johnny Tremain is a promising young silversmith living in Boston during the period leading up to the American Revolution. He experiences some dramatic changes in his life but also gets involved with a number of the important figures of the time. Historical fiction as a coming-of-age story.
This copy has been retired from a school library collection and is a bit battered (mostly the cover) but still very readable. I'm thinking of releasing this for Veteran's Day..
Other copies on my BookCrossing shelf: 13247769 • 15938632
Edit 2013: this probably isn't the right cover image but it's better than the generic one.
