My copy has a different cover

I really hadn't expected to like this, which is why it's taken me so long to reading. In fact had I not been given this copy I don't think I'd have even considered reading it. That said, once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. It had some fabulous descriptions of the countryside and life in that Civil War era. I haven't seen the film (well possibly the start) but would now like to watch it. Wish I'd read this sooner!

Holiday’ing in Cornwall and picked up this book to read. I’ve not seen the movie so I’m excited to read the book, already on page 120 and I can’t put it down! I’m traveling for two weeks so I hope to finish it but will release it! I love the idea of this book crossing, what a joy to discover it. Rosie
