These 3 stories were more fantasy that I'm comfortable reading so I had trouble staying with them. The paranormal books & stories I've read by Mercedes Lackey have been super, so I was glad to read more of her. Tanith Lee & C.E. Murphy were new to me authors.

On a whim, I searched the listings at AbeBooks for various BC-related keywords like "bookcrossing" or "BCID", and found several listings that included them in the descriptions. (I don't mind seeing BC books in bookstores or for sale - that's part of a book's life cycle as far as I'm concerned. And in this case the BC info was preserved, so that's good too.) I decided to order a few of those books so I could re-release them, and this softcover arrived today. (Waves hi to the previous journalers! I wonder where it's been since 2007?)
It contains three fantasy novellas:
"Moontide" by Mercedes Lackey, in which talented but torn Moira has conflicting loyalties.
"The Heart of the Moon" by Tanith Lee, in which warrior woman Clirando faces a betrayal by friend and lover - and a subsequent curse - in a fantasy world reminiscent of ancient Greece.
"Banshee Cries" by C. E. Murphy, from her Walker Papers series featuring unwilling shaman Jo Walker and the titular harbinger of death.
It contains three fantasy novellas:
