Ik kan Nederlands lezen, maar niet echt wel. Ik probeer het maar, en als ik niet kon, dan breng ik het boek naar Nederland.

Journal Entry 4 by microsquid from Cobh, Co. Cork Ireland on Wednesday, January 10, 2007
I started it with the best intentions last night and got about three pages in before I had to give up- it's been over a year since I lived in NL and I'm not even sure my Dutch would have been up to the standard then! As it is I get the jist but thats about it... However I will arrange for it to go to good homes in the Netherlands and to native speakers who can enjoy it.

Journal Entry 6 by Irenne from Voorburg, Zuid-Holland Netherlands on Tuesday, September 11, 2007
During the first twenty pages I had the idea the book was little more than a cheap romance: the poor but beautiful en spiritful heroine with gypsy-blood and the Earl with a fantastic fysical appearance but a castle with many debts....
I nearly stopped, but I discovered that the other personages were well described and the book was to a certain extent funny.
I read the first novel (Open huis) and maybe I will the second one (Top hit) another time.

Thank you felicia-fairy and in the case you didn't discover in the meanwhile: the books isn't German but Dutch!

Ik heb het boek meegenomen van de bookcrossmeeting in Gouda. 't Lijkt me een leuk en luchtig boek. Ik ben benieuwd. Eerst ga ik dit boek uitlenen aan een vriendin.
