I read another copy of this book earlier this year, so I've copy and pasted my original review below.
This book took a long time to get going...usually I don't mind a slow build-up, but this one was just too slow for me. I advise that the next reader start at page 98, which is where the action really seems to begin, and go back and read the beginning once they've finished if they feel like they've missed something. Once the story finally got going it was rather enjoyable and I finished it in two days, but man, the two weeks it took me to slog through those first 97 pages!
