This is a fascinating book about the true life experience of Sabine Dardenne who was abducted on her way to school one day by a paedophile. It is an amazing account of what happened to her before, during and after the event. She is very diplomatic when describing the worst events. It gives you a very accurate insight into how she was brainwashed into thinking good of her captor.
Another book received today from Susan and added to the bookshelf to be read in due course! But I've been told I've to read this one quickly because it's so good.
A very courageous story of a horrendous life experience, but how it has affected her. Interesting to read the story told by Sabine rather than through newspapers.
Didn't think it was quite as good as Susan thought it was though. I often felt the story lacked detail, as she appeared to distance herself from how she felt and her relationship with her parents is only really touched on towards the end.

I caught the book from my daughter and I plan to pass it on to a work colleague. An excellent read. Sabine's experiences were extremely traumatic to say the least - I hope, despite these experiences, she finds happiness.
Got the book from a colleague at work. It was an easy read of a very horrific tale. Glad I stuck with it to the end.
