This book is inspired in the real life story about the American Bombing of the Baghdad Zoo
From this simple premise the authors show us war through a point most people don't even think about.
Simply amazing!
The mere hardcover is already a dream to own.
And the artwork, definitely made me want to follow more of Niko Henrichon's work.
The story itself is fantastic, you do start to care about the lions, they just feel so human, in fact more than human.
I admit i even got a little eye-moisture by the end, that end really creeps up on you.

Obrigado Escalla, para devolver no próximo encontro. A arte está muito fixe e a história também não está mal. Mas não concordo contigo, os leões estão demasiado humanos. Nopes, não chorei no fim lol. Tenho de te emprestar outros dos hardcovers recentes da vertigo, uma história do harvey pekar chamada "The Quitter".
